A lovely group of 8 was happy as a panther on the 10 miles round trip hike in the North Cascades National Park. We hiked an easy trail, perfect for an early season outing. Easy, but you still have to watch your footing or you can take a tumble as our leader demonstrated. The highlights were the nice forest trail, gorgeous waterfalls, the view of Ross Lake and Jack Mt. and some native flowers. We saw Candysticks, beautiful to look at but not for consumption. Thanks to all who made this a great hiking experience.
