Trip Report
Fourteen hikers enjoyed sunshine and beautiful views on the trails to Squires Lake Park and then to the top of Alger Alp. We gathered at the parking lot off of  highway 99 to take the North route over gravel and dirt trails and then a  logging road to the top of Alger Alp.  At the top there were views of Skagit Valley, the Olympics, and Islands.  We covered approximately 6 miles.

Following the hike, a group of 12  met for a tavern lunch at Alger Bar and Grill before returning to Bellingham.
