Baker Lake Trail to Noisy Creek

Fri, June 2, 8:00am – 6:30pm

Baker Lake Trail to Noisy Creek: 9-10 miles along the east bank shore of Baker Lake, elevation gain of 500 feet. Starting from the trail head at the east end of Mount Baker Lake Road (FS 11, last 6 miles unpaved), we’ll pass giant cedars before crossing the Baker River via the 240 foot cable-stay bridge. The scenic trail, with views of Mount Baker and possibly Mount Shuksan, takes us over the Blum and Hidden Creeks before we reach our lake side lunch spot and turnaround point at Noisy Creek campsite. Post hike brew and/or burger at Birdsview Brewery in Concrete. Carpoolers meet at Sunnyland Elementary at 8 am and we’ll stop at Chuckanut Park and Ride at 8:30 for a second pickup. $5 suggested. NW Forest Pass needed. Be sure to check for updates before heading out, as last winter may have brought down some trees on the smaller bridges and may require a revision to plans.
