We offered this very popular ride earlier this year and were asked to provide it on a weekend for folks that can’t ride on Thursdays. Just minutes over the border, this is a delightful ride along the Fraser River combining a shoreline park trail (hardback gravel), around an island park, through a charming old fashioned town, around an early frontier Hudson Bay Fort then across farmlands of dairy and berry. Basically flat, we have some fun mini bump up and downs through the park and in the farmlands we will climb up one hill then enjoy a downhill reward before heading back to our cars. This downhill is not the same street as our spring ride.
27 miles round trip. BYO and/or we’ll eat in a great cafe. Let’s hope for great autumn colors all around. Meet at Edaleen Dairy on the Guide Meridian just 1 mile south of the border crossing. No mercy if you go to the wrong Edaleen. Carpools encouraged so come early – we leave the parking lot at 9 a.m. Passports. Tom and Janet firstname.lastname@example.org
