Trip Report

Twelve hikers made the journey to visit Lake 22 off the Mountain Loop Highway in Snohomish County. The weather offered a wide sampling of classic northwest precipitations throughout the hike but that didn’t deter many others from sharing the trail with us. A variety of waterfalls were spotted and many solid rocks were tripped over but we eventually reached our destination for a nice relaxing lunch. The majority of the group opted to make a loop around the lake since the route appeared to be snow-free. An informal and unscientific poll of trip participants suggested that this was a great destination! Stopped in Granite Falls for a post-hike social hour before heading back north.

Thanks for being great trip participants!
